In 2023, Joe Freshgoods and Vault by Vans welcomed the exploration of a fictional haven, "Chocolate Valley Resort," inspired by Black travel and leisure, past and present. The concept is visualized through history and community, paying homage to the ever-changing Black travel experience. The collection reimagines winter staples intended for all seasons, including footwear, apparel, and accessories, and features historical references, such as the Green Book, a guide essential for traveling safely.
